Case management is a comprehensive set of services traditionally viewed as “social work.” Through case management, the client is assisted in locating resources within the community that aid those in need. Daily life can be so demanding, especially when compounded with mental illness. Case management services ensure that the client is receiving all services that they need to improve their quality of life. A case manager may assist in almost anything from scheduling medical appointments to helping clients find jobs or housing. Don’t know if there is a program available for you to obtain your GED or unsure how to apply for government assistance? What about that housing grant everyone is talking about that helps first time homeowners? A case manager can help with that as well.
